Glenn M. Wong is a Distinguished Professor of Practice (Sports Law) at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He is the author of Essentials of Sports Law (4th Edition) and The Comprehensive Guide to Careers in Sports (2nd Edition), along with many other publications.
Wong’s views on sports law, college athletics and careers in sport have been presented in The New York Times, Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and other publications. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences, symposia and executive education programs.
Wong has been a consultant and arbitrator in various cases, including for the National Football League, Major League Baseball and the United States Olympic Committee. Wong currently serves as outside counsel to the Baltimore Orioles and legal counsel to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. He has served as President of the Sports Lawyers Association, of which he has been a member of the board of directors since 1998.
